Install & first launch on PC

Matches what most creators cover on YouTube: unzip the official archive, unblock SmartScreen once, flip graphics APIs if AMD drivers hiccup, then point at your personal disc dump.

Download & extract

  1. Grab the latest Windows ZIP from TwilitRealm or GitHub releases page.
  2. Extract somewhere user-writable—not deep inside Program Files (permission headaches).
  3. First launch SmartScreen warns about unsigned binaries—hit “More info → Run anyway”.

ROM placement

Create / point to a roms folder, drop GZ2E01/GZ2PE01 images only. Launcher validates fingerprints before boot.

Performance toggles worth changing first

  • Flip between Vulkan and Direct3D12 under Display if you see flicker.
  • Set frame cap to multiples of original pacing (60/120) for silk-smooth traversal.
  • Enable gyro if you wield a DualSense or Switch pad—no Steam Input overlays needed.
