Chapter 17

⏳ Temple of Time

The ruined Temple of Time — once the most sacred site in Hyrule, now crumbling and overrun. The Dominion Rod is the dungeon item, allowing Link to animate stone statues and use them as remote-controlled tools and combat aids.

Roadmap for this chapter

This page condenses spoiler-light planning: skim it before a session when you want to remember pacing, dungeon loot, or Dusk quirks without rereading an hour-long retrospective.

Rough session length for story beats sits around 2 hours (first playthrough); doubling that is normal if you're multitasking Poe souls, bugs, heart pieces, or recording footage.

Objectives mirror the designers' gating—you can zig-zag earlier for collectibles once you recognize backtracking costs in Sacred Grove — Dungeon, but quests won't hard-block you with surprise flags as often when you stick to the order below.

Dusk tip: The Dominion Rod-controlled statue moves in the direction you face — rotate Link, not the camera, to steer the statue accurately. The statue's stomp attack is activated by pressing A while controlling it. This is critical for Phase 2 of the Armogohma fight.

Typical pacing: 2 hours (first playthrough)
